GRADUATION

Requirements
The basic graduation requirements are that seniors must have 230 units, completed District-adopted course requirements, and pass the CAHSEE.  If you have any questions regarding graduation requirements, please contact your student’s counselor.

 Announcements
Graduation cap/gown, and announcement orders will be taken on November 15^th from 10:30 – 2:30 and on November 16^th during both lunches.  Order forms will be handed out in government classes the week of October 31^st.

  Names Printed on Diploma
In January, students will be given a form to complete showing how they want their name printed on their diploma.  Please discuss with your student how their name should be printed on their diploma. 

Ceremony
The Graduation ceremony will be on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 6:00 pm in the center courtyard at the Enochs High School campus.  Seating capacity will be limited and admission to the ceremony is by ticket only.  Each graduate will receive six tickets.  Graduating seniors do not need a ticket.  Graduation commencement is a dignified and meaningful ceremony.  Seniors and their parents must sign a District adopted graduation ceremony contract.  The week before school is out, each senior will receive a checkout form along with the actual senior contract form.  Signatures will be required at that time.  Under the cap and gown, male graduates will wear slacks, (no denim), dress shirt, ties are optional, and dress shoes.  Female graduates will wear a dress/skirt outfit, dress pants (no denim), with dress shoes.  Graduates not dressed appropriately will not be allowed to participate in graduation exercises.  Your support in this area would be appreciated. 

Practice
Graduation practice will be held on the morning of graduation.  All graduates must attend practice in order to participate in the ceremony.  Tickets will be distributed at graduation practice.

Prom

The prom will be held on May 5, 2012, 9 p.m.-12 a.m.
at the Modesto Centre Plaza.

Senior Trip
The senior trip to Disneyland and Universal Studios is May 11-12, 2012.

The cost of this year’s trip is $288.00.

The first payment of $100.00 is due on Friday, December 2, 2011.

The second payment of $100.00 is due on Friday, February 9, 2012.

The final payment of $88.00 is due on Friday, March 9, 2012.

Fundraising

The Senior Trip Candy Sale is scheduled for January 17, 2012 through February 3, 2012. Candy sale contracts are due Friday, December 9^th.

Senior Awards and Scholarship Night
Senior Awards and Scholarship Night will be on
Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 6 p.m.

Grad Bash
Grad Bash will follow the graduation ceremony. Activities include: casino games, inflatable activities, hypnotist show, dancing, movies, food, drink, raffle prizes and much more.
