Program Offerings

Program Offerings, sometimes referred to as Pathways, are unique course offerings that are only offered at one school. Not only are the students who live within the attendance area of Enochs High School eligible to take these classes, but Program Offerings are also legitimate reasons for students who live outside of the Enochs attendance area to apply for an Intra District Transfer. The following Program Offerings/Pathways will be offered at James C. Enochs High School:

  • Forensic/Biotech Science
  • Graphic Design
  • Pre-Vet Science

For more information go to our Program Offerings page.

Things all incoming Enochs Students & Parents should know

1. The Enochs Principal is Mr. Michael Coats.

2. The Enochs Associate Principal is Mrs. Danielle Hinkle.

3. The Enochs Principal of Pupil Services is Dr. Beate Martinez

4. The Enochs Principal of Supervision is Mr. Sam DeLaRosa

5. The Enochs High school website address is: http://enochs.monet.k12.ca.us/ This site has information regarding important dates, email addresses for staff and faculty, sports and activities schedules, teacher work pages.

6. The Modesto City Schools Student Conduct Code isn’t just about discipline; it also has important information regarding the District dress code, ensuring student safety, extra-curricular eligibility, attendance procedures and the rights & responsibilities of students, parents, and school personnel. The Modesto City Schools Parent Information Directory and Enochs High School Student/Parent Handbook also contain important and useful information and are available upon request and on the school website.

7. Student and site safety is a priority so we have two very important procedures regarding checking in and out of school.

a. ALL visitors need to sign in at the main office and receive a visitor pass no matter the nature or duration of the visit.

b. Students checking out of school for appointments or any reason during the school day must be released to an adult who is on file as an approved contact.

8. To report a student’s illness you can call the attendance office at or on the day of the illness or send a note with your student’s name, the date of the absence, your name, and a phone number we can contact you at. For absences not relating to illness or medical appointments there is a procedure for “personal” absences. These require prior notification and approval. For more information regarding this and other attendance procedures, please consult the Conduct Code or call us.

9. Student cell phones are to be off and not visible when on campus during school hours.  Students can use office phones to contact parents in case of personal emergencies.

10. To ensure prompt and consistent communication with parents we rely on families to provide the school with updated phone numbers and addresses as changes are made.

11. Physical Education is a required course for freshman and is participatory in nature which means missing class really affects the grade and is difficult to make up.

12. “I know what my backpack looks like” and “I’ll just be gone for a minute” are two phrases lead to missing items. In addition to the times that items are misplaced or forgotten there are times when trust is mistreated and things are deliberately taken.

Please follow these tips.

a. Know where your things are and be careful to not leave them unattended at lunch or during breaks. Take turns with your friends while the others get lunch or drinks, etc. and try not to leave things setting on top of benches or on the ground, this can lead to missing and sometimes falling items.

b. PE locker combinations are confidential information. You may trust your friends and you may want to give it to them, but you may not even know the person they may share that information with. Do not give your PE locker combination out to anybody.

c. Cell phones and CD/MP3 players are attractive targets and part of the reason that CD/MP3 players are not allowed on campus.

13. We here at Enochs High School are here for YOU. Please feel comfortable asking us for direction and or assistance
