- Manage and conserve individual and community resources.
- Make sound consumer and financial decisions.
- Build positive interpersonal and family relationships.
- Reinforce educational skills necessary for earning a living.
- Explore job & career pathways through job shadowing opportunities.
Career pathways lead to associate (A.A., A.S.) degree options and baccalaureate (B.A., B.S.) degrees.
Mission Statement
The Johansen High School Education and Child Development Academy is designed to provide students with theory, education, practical skills, and experience that they will need in order to be prepared to continue their education and pursue a career in the "People Professions". This program will also include direct instruction and preparation that will enable the students to be a positive influence on the lives of children and young people under their care. At the same time it will provide them with rewarding connections to the business world.
